Hey there! I’m Paige, and alongside my husband, Dixon, we’re the proud owners of Gracious Me!, Hopkinsville’s favorite one-stop shop for gifts, home décor, and all things beautiful.

Growing up, I was always rearranging and redecorating—my parents joked they never knew where my bed would be next! That love for creating beautiful spaces planted the seed for a dream I never let go of. In 2018, that dream led me right to Gracious Me!

Gracious Me! first opened its doors in September 2005 to an incredible response from the community of Hopkinsville. The vision was simple but powerful: to offer a warm, inviting place where anyone could find beautiful home décor and thoughtful gifts at an affordable price. Nearly twenty years later, that mission remains at the heart of everything we do.

While I was still in college, I applied for a position at Gracious Me! and told the founder, Sherry Calhoun, that my dream was to one day own a shop just like hers. After graduation, I returned to the team while Dixon finished school. That fall, Sherry shared something that changed everything—she was beginning to think about her succession plan, and she believed in me to carry on her beloved business. It was a humbling and exciting moment that planted a new seed in our hearts.

But life took an unexpected turn. Before that plan could fully unfold, God called Sherry home. In the midst of unimaginable grief, something extraordinary happened: Sherry’s husband, Mr. Calhoun, chose to honor her wishes. He stepped into the role of mentor, supporter, and guide—something we will always hold close to our hearts.

Since then, we’ve been deeply overwhelmed with gratitude for our amazing team, our families, and our continued mission. Gracious Me! is more than a store—it’s a legacy of love, creativity, and purpose, and we’re honored to carry it forward.
